About DrawAFish
DrawAFish is a free browser game where you draw a fish, an AI gives it a name and a rating, and it swims in a shared online aquarium with everyone else's fish.
What DrawAFish is
DrawAFish.live is a playful drawing game for anyone. There is nothing to install and you do not need an account to draw: open the page, sketch a fish, and it joins the public tank, the gallery and the leaderboards.
How it works
- Draw a fish with the pen, marker, spray or eraser. A detector running in your browser shows how fish-like the drawing looks as you go.
- Publish it, and an AI names your fish, guesses its species and gives the drawing a 0–100 rating that sets its starting weight.
- Your fish swims in the shared tank. Anyone can give it cookies, and every cookie makes it heavier and visibly bigger.
- The heaviest fish and the best-rated artists appear on the leaderboards, and standout fish are featured in DrawAFish Weekly.
Who runs DrawAFish
DrawAFish is built and run by the DrawAFish team. We develop the game, moderate the public tank and keep drawing free for everyone.
Sources
The real-time fish detector is a small image classifier we trained on drawings from Google's Quick, Draw! dataset, which Google publishes under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license.
Fish names, species guesses and ratings are generated by an AI model for fun, so they are not always accurate.
How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
