Dear reader, Our very first issue arrives on a spring tide of 1,511 new fish from 29 artists, and what a week to start with. "biu_biu_biu" swims onto the inaugural cover with a community rating of 85, while "旺旺！" managed to top the charts and tip the scales at a mighty 3090 grams. Between 325 ratings cast and 1,366 feeds served, the tank has never felt livelier — welcome aboard.

A month-long Schmidt Ocean Institute expedition to the mid-Atlantic Ocean discovered two rare types of hydrothermal vent fields and uncovered novel insights into crustal fluid circulation. The team also observed two bigfin squids and captured the first footage of a species of the elusive barreleye fish.
