"Salsa sal" sizzles onto the cover — plus a week of surprises

Dear reader, This week the tide brought us 510 new fish from 31 artists, and somewhere in that shimmering school, "Salsa sal" by Sophia Burns danced its way onto our cover with a community rating of 94. Our judges also found treasures in unexpected corners, from the depths where "Bloop" was quietly waiting to the mysterious unsigned works that left us guessing. Dive in — the water's lovely.

“"Astrion" got a genuine laugh out of this puffer — and I laugh with my fish, never at their artists. To the anonymous hand behind it: thank you for the best chuckle of the week.”
